Looks like the concept art for the gaming company has fallen into the abyss... on the positive side, I have contracted some freelance illustration work for a table top game system, and I will be attending an oil painting immersion class with Larry Elmore (DragonLance and Dungeons & Dragons) for a WHOLE week... preparing now, and will be posting new work in the next few weeks...
no update on the concept art gig... kind of in limbo right now, but have been creative and have been painting and doing some pen and ink... hopefully I will have news with the gaming company soon...
Just a quick note for the few of you who follow what's up with me. I was contacted by a small gaming company to do some concept and avatar art for their new MMO game...
I can't give you any specifics yet due to nondisclosure agreements, but I am working hard and heavy with this project and hope to be able to give you all a sneak peek in the coming months... I hope to finish my "Dual Blade" piece, but it may move a bit slower.
So if you don't see many updates here, I am still lurking around the edges...
Been very creative lately and I guess its paying off... have a couple commissions, and some potential freelance illustration projects in the works...
Got my passport together and it looks like I will be visiting the UK again at the end of May... Have my camera ready for reference material... any suggestions on something cool to shoot?
I just watched "Quarantine" on DVD last night... FREAKIN'GOOD SCAREFEST!!! great one camera POV cinematography, and don't watch it on a big screen in the dark...
I have been working extra hours lately (very happy about that in this ecomony) so I have a few new pieces that I am roughing out... But I am quite happy with the progress of my newest watercolor... I am not sure if I'm going to start to panic and "digitize" it once it gets to a certain stage, but I guess the media doesn't really matter...
